What is an E-Cigarette? It is a battery powered device that uses electricity to heat a liquid and produce a vapor that can be vaped much like a cigarette.
Why switch to an e-cigarette? There are many reasons that people switch some of them are: Cost of smoking cigarettes, tired of smelling like an ash tray, no-flame or hot ashes that burn (clothes, rugs, furniture, etc,), no tar, no carbon monoxide, cigarettes contain 4000+ chemicals many which are carcinogens,
How does an e-cigarette work? The e-cigarette is made up of 4 basic parts: the battery, the atomizer, the e-juice delivery device and the e-juice. The battery is used to heat the atomizer and in turn the atomizer heats the e-juice which produces the vapor.
What battery is right for me? There is no correct answer for this question. Like most questions about e-cigarettes it depends on the user. They make small batteries like most of the ones found in gas stations, drug stores and super stores that last most users a very short time. But if you don’t vape much they would last longer and could be the right fit for you. Another battery is the eGo battery, it last much longer and comes in different sizes. On this site we carry 650mah, 900mah, and 1000mah. Depending on how much you plan to vape and how you use it will determine the size of the battery. There are variables that determine how long each battery will last you, like how long of puff you take, what type of atomizer you use, and how much you use it per hour. But as a general rule a 650 will last about 5-6 hours and a 1000mah will last about 8-9 hours.
What is a pass-through battery? Although Smoktech and Joyetech says pass-through in their description they are not truly a pass-through. They do not let the electricity flow from the USB plug straight to the atomizer, instead what they are really doing is allowing you to vape while the battery is charging and use the battery to heat the atomizer. You can use your computer but Easy Vaping would recommend using the wall charger. It should be faster and if it would short out it wouldn't case damage to you computer.
What atomizer is right for me? Again it depends on the user. User’s preferences vary a lot. Some users like to drip, they simple have an atomizer that they manually drip juice on each time they use it. Then there are others that don’t want to mess with that and want a cartridge to do the dripping for them. Please read about cartridges below. The atomizer comes in different ohms and using the internet you can read or listen to why people prefer the system they have.
How long do atomizers last? An atomizer is considered a throw away device that will burn out or stop producing vaper and flavor. A spare should be available. The length of time it last depends on the use and care of the atomizer. A quick search on the internet will tell you anywhere from a few days to several months. You will also find ways to make them last longer like cleaning it every day. Some good tips about making it last longer are, not letting it over heat. This could happen by taking long puffs, taking a lot of puffs in a short period of time, not using the safety feature and it heats up in your pocket or purse. Don’t let the atomizer dry out. Here is a real general guideline for the Joyetech atomizer: Light user (2 to 3 months), moderate user (1 to 2 months), heavy user (2 weeks to month).
What is a cartridge and/or a cartomizer? Unless you drip you need a device to hold your e-juice and deliver it to the atomizer. For cartridges you have a cartridge that you drip the e-juice onto a filler that absorbs the e-juice which is then inserted into the atomizer and you have a tank system that you insert into the atomizer that drips the e-juice onto the atomizer as you vape. A Cartomizer is both a cartridge and an atomizer in one. Again you have ones with filler and some with tanks. This site only carriers cartomizers with filler.
What is the best juice? There are many brands and many flavors and most have their own following. If you are looking for a flavor that tastes like a cigarette you probably are not going to find it. If you do, please let us know. You have to try different flavors and pick the one best for you. We do carry American made juice.
